Just in time for the holidays and a glimpse of spring jazz to come. Join Blues Alley as we ring in the 3rd annual “Ella Fitzgerald Weekend” with acclaimed vocalist Rene Marie in concert with the Count Basie Orchestra on Saturday, April 27, 2019. The concert will be a component of the famed “Ella Fitzgerald Competition” and all paid concert attendees include the final competition round.

“I have never forgotten the early lessons learned about the power of music,” she says. “Today, I try to imbue that feeling of emotion into every song I write and every song I sing – every time.
